It seems like as soon as I feel I'm close to something, it gets torn away from me. Like playing chess, I've taken the enemy's pawn but lost my queen in that move. Every day the weight of the world pushes me down further and further into a bed of nails, and I am bleeding but no one will help me up. Why is it that from such a young age, I've had to learn that this world is so cruel? Why is it that the people who should have been there to teach me to avoid the flame push me into it so eagerly?
